Sleepwalker drives for 23 km and kills his
mother-in-law: acquitted.
It happened in Canada, where a 29 year
old man, who suffered from insomnia
and somnambulism, drove his car for 23
km to get to his mother-in-law’s home to
then stab her to death while he was
sleepwalking. According to the Court, the
man was not in a sound state of mind so
he was acquitted of the murder charge.
Peaceful nights for him, then. We can’t
say the same for his wife.
